Caroline Kennedy is an American author, attorney, and diplomat. Caroline recalled that the citizens of New York took the family "into their hearts" and respected their privacy, which is what her mother had wanted. As noted in a press release from the Carnegie Foundation of New York, upon Kennedy joining the organization's board of trustees, she was also responsible for helping to create a privately funded arts curriculum for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
